Scientific and technical objectives
Objective: regulation and markets.
- Development of an analysis to identify the impact of improvements in the level of transparency on stability and risk-taking in the banking sector and the welfare level.
- Role in the formation of certain reference prices (EURIBOR, LIBOR) play the interests of large financial groups that provide information on which are made, particularly the possibility of manipulation of these prices and their impact on financial markets.
- Study whether the lack of information on energy prices is an obstacle to saving in electricity consumption by households.
Objective: Political Economics.
- In what contests there is a solution in dominant strategies.
- What is the value of public information and how they affected the incentives to make efforts depending on the level of information of the participants.
- What is the impact of transparency on the intensity of rent-seeking activities.
- Properties alternative systems of choice (for qualified majorities, presidential, bicameral, etc.) in dynamic and changing environments, when political decisions operate with inertia.
- Cooperation between democratic governments for the provision of transnational public goods.
- Develop a theory about communication in election campaigns.
